We Develop CAPRO’s current and potential workforce through spiritually targeted and robust training programs that continually ensues multiplication of equipped and motivated human capital to impact churches for global missions.
CALVARY MINISTRIES (CAPRO) School of Missions, SOM for short, is a cross-cultural and interdenominational missions training institute established in 1978. Her core objective is to impart knowledge, skill and develop the Christ-like character required to meet the demands of cross-cultural missions. Its end goal is the production of competent soul winners, skillful church planters and passionate disciple makers equipped to work in difficult, socio-cultural and religious environments.
THE CAMPUSES
CAPRO mission’s training bases are often located in serene environments with minimal distractions creating a conducive atmosphere for knowledge and skill acquisition.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Students are exposed to practical and communal experiences like cooking, games (indoor and outdoor) and fun times.
The research department in our different regions and countries where we work is in charge of handling all CAPRO research activities in those various regions across the Globe. Capro as a mission agency works mostly with our researchers’ findings and reports as the case may be. From unreached people groups (UPGS) to staff matters. The reports of our researchers pave way for our global goals we look forward to achieving them year to year with the help of the Holy Spirit.
We plant indigenous, autonomous churches among unreached people groups of the world.
We provide holistic empowerment through CAPRO field staff and partners in unreached groups, towards community transformation for God’s kingdom and to enhance our church planting. These includes; Healthcare, Water, Sanitation, hygiene, disaster relief, emergency response, Community church mobilization project (CCMP) etc.
We conduct research and develop the heart language of UPGs. Produce materials and teach them to use the materials for effective holistic church planting and growth.
THE BIBLE
One of the oldest and most popular book of all times. God’s word to us, so, everyone deserves to hear it in a language they can clearly understand.
Not everyone has access to the Bible, people from at least 2000 language groups are still waiting for their translation to begin. Over 1 million men, women and children do not have the Bible in their heart language.
We leverage on appropriate technology to enhance global reach through the production of fit for purpose evangelistic and discipleship materials, improved audio visual services, and provide regular media updates for partners engagement by DPRM in support of the enlargement vision of CAPRO
We ensure transparent and effective management of CAPRO’s assets and financial resources through effective budgeting, reporting and timely disbursement of funds with renewed emphasis on project development, tracking and regular partner reporting to enhance confidence and funding
