In 2019, the Lord mandated us through Congress, drawing from Isaiah 54:2-3, to enlarge our tent and stretch our borders. To achieve this, we must experience four critical moves for enlargement.
The Four Critical Moves
- The Move of the Spirit
We must experience a fresh anointing, the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Every member of CAPRO must seek a fresh encounter with God, walking in the Spirit and with the Spirit’s guidance. He empowers us with visions, dreams, and the ability to make disciples among nations (Joel 2:28-29; Zac 4:6; Acts 1:8; John 16:7-8; Eph 5:18).
- The Move of Prayer
Jabez’s prayer in 1 Chronicles 4:10 shows us the power of asking God to enlarge our coast. We must ask God to expand our lives and mission, and He will heed our prayers (Ps 2:8). Jesus taught us to ask, seek, and knock in prayer, giving us authority to bind the strong man and take possession of nations (Matt 7:7; Matt 16:19; Mk 3:27; 1 Thess 5:17).
- The Move of Faith
Without faith, it’s impossible to please God (Heb 11:6). As a faith mission, we must renew our faith in God and His Word. Faith in His power, presence, and provision enables us to ask for what we need to accomplish His will (Mark 4:26-29; Mark 11:14; Phil 4:19).
- The Move of Generation Next
The Lord has spoken that our sons and daughters will become a mighty army, inheriting nations (Psalms 127:3-5; Ezekiel 37:10; Isaiah 54:3; 2 Sam 7:12). We must communicate the vision and mission to disciples and our children, recruiting them for missions and creating mission awareness in the body of Christ.
Let’s Obey the Mandate
As we seek to enlarge our tent, let’s embrace these four critical moves:
- Experience the move of the Spirit.
- Engage in fervent prayer.
- Exercise faith in God’s power and provision.
- Empower the next generation for missions.
Together, we’ll spread out to the right and left, dispossessing nations and settling in desolate cities (Isaiah 54:3). Let’s obey the mandate and watch God work mightily among us.
