Calvary Ministries CAPRO entered The Sultanate Of Oman in 2009 and since then, we have had 7 missionaries serve as long term missionaries with CAPRO in Oman. God has been faithful in that nation and this is one of their stories.
Omani’s are very welcoming and hospitable. One of the marks of a true Omani is his or her generosity. A big problem however for many Omanis (and people from the Islamic faith in general) is that they struggle with the problem of demonic oppressions and suppressions, and this is rife in Oman.
Our missionaries based in a semi-urban town have been making wonderful friendships with the locals and having deep conversations. People complaining of demonic problems have regularly approached them. Recently, a lady came to their home to complain that she is possessed by demons that trouble her night and day. She actually sees strange things and hears their voices within her and audibly. At the appointed time our missionaries agreed to pray for her, she came to their home and with the simple mention of the name of Jesus, the demons started manifesting through her but praise be to God, after prayers, she was completely free from the affliction. She was given a bible to read.
This only represents one of many stories of men and women who come to our workers requesting prayers to break the spells of demons and evil spirits. God is working in the Sultanate of Oman, breaking spiritual bondages, setting captives from and ushering lives into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
PRAY THAT GOD’S POWER WILL CONTINUE TO POUR THROUHG THESE SERVANTS OF GOD.
PRAY THAT MANY MORE OMANIS WILL BE FREED FROM THE CHAINS OF SATAN AND TURN TO THE TOTAL FREEDOM THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS.
